Certifying Leaders

One of the things that makes our approach unique is how we partner with denominations, networks, and churches from the very start. We don't just provide generic leadership training. Instead, we work hand-in-hand to build a seamless process that meets all the specific requirements for ordination or credentialing in that church body.

In traditional pastoral equipping models, the education experience is often separate from the denomination's credentialing process. Students have to juggle and ensure they're checking all the boxes for both tracks. But at Coram Deo, we unify the leadership formation process with the certification process from day one.

Right from the start, we get everyone on the same page - the church, denomination, leader candidate, and our team. We align on the goals and the intended outcome (like ordination) for leaders who complete our pastoral formation program. It's a unified, streamlined journey rather than parallel tracks.

While traditional degree programs certainly have their place, the current ministry landscape is shifting more toward competency-based certification. This approach emphasizes developing practical pastoral skills, Godly character, and ministry experience, rather than just grades, academic instruction, and producing scholars.

Our programs are tailored to make sure leaders master the real-world competencies their churches and denominations value most. At the end, they don't just get a degree - they get credentialed for ministry after demonstrating their readiness to serve and lead. It's a best-of-both-worlds model!
